Replace your coir mats from time to time and when needed to grow your own tasty microgreens with one of our popular propagation kits. Coir growing mats are ideal for seed germination as they have a texture that encourages root growth. The space between the coir fibres allow the roots to penetrate and take hold, while mimicking soil and providing the darkness to encourage downward growth.
These mats can also be re-used or composted after use in growing your microgreens.

The thickness of these growing mats have been specifically designed to keep seeds away from the water at the bottom of the propagation tray and avoid waterlogging. This makes germinating microgreens easy and less messy than using soil.
