Fungus gnats (Sciarid fly) cannot survive the coir compression process and are inhospitable places for eggs to live. Coco & Coir compost will never introduce them into your home!
Unlike traditional ‘wet’ compost with rotting material, which is where flies breed and lay eggs. The coconut oil in coco fibre also repels fungus gnats already in existing compost. This vastly reduces the curse of fungus’ ability to breed and harm plants.
