30mm Coco Dots netted coir pellets are perfect for starting off seeds.
Each pellet is wrapped in a protective net that holds the compost in place during and after expansion. Simply place in pot or tray with water and watch the coir plug plants expand!
Simply put the required number of compressed Coco Dots seed starter pellets in a seed tray or pot, add warm water and leave for a few minutes to absorb the water.
Once the pellets are fully expanded (5-6 times the height they are dry you have the perfect compost plug to sow seeds into. Carefully make a hole in the centre of the pellet to the depth stated on the seed packet, place a seed or two into the hole and gently cover the seed over in coir soil. Place somewhere suitable for germination to take place.
